For many of us September seems to be the real start of the new year. We grew up going back to school, starting a new grade and a brand new experience. New shoes, new notebooks, new classes and new classmates.
After we are finished with school it still feels like the start of the new year. Everything slows down in August. People go on vacation and tune out. Then Labor Day rolls around and we begin to buckle down again.
While it may take a little while to get the momentum going, it feels like a fresh start, a new year.
