FAMILY T-SHIRT

They must have had t-shirts made for a family reunion or something. Although they are just drawings they look just like the people they represent. They even have color coordinated clothes.

This is good. If everyone in the family wears the t-shirt you’ll instantly know everyone’s name and a little about their personality. I’m not sure about the country of origin of their last name but they certainly must be American.…

VISITORS

Strange visitors from another planet who come to earth with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men. Visitors who can change the course of Zoom meetings, bend time in their bare hands. And who, disguised as mild-mannered office workers for great metropolitan philanthropists, fight a never ending battle for more coffee breaks, low cal, but tasty doughnuts and transformative, employee, fulfillment days.…

WELCOME

People in this area are often surprisingly warm and welcoming, opening their hearts to friends they haven’t met, yet. And they like to get the message out about how they feel.

They do more than put a cute little decoration on their door and instead brightly proclaim how they feel about you.

We are a friendly people. …

MYSTICAL ART

Black and white film photography is an art. Taken to its highest level, it’s a mystical art. There are forces at work. Forces that need to be calmed and directed. It’s analog . Non reproducible. It’s not binary. Its universal.

Early practitioners were sometimes burned as witches, but more often feared as wizards. Wizards who could conjure the soul into a two dimensional object.

This mystical side of photography was lost when corporations started canning mass-produced film and running huge chemical plants that developed it. When digital photography emerged, especially cell phones, the magic was almost lost but for knowledge buried deep in the Akashic records.

Fortunately, knowledge is eternal and all we need to do is to seek it. Just don’t burn me. I’m not a witch.…

INFRASTRUCTURE THIEVERY

It’s well know that we have an infrastructure problem in this country. Roads, airports, docks, railroads all need upkeep and long overdue maintenance. What is not so well known is that our infrastructure also is being stolen, ripped off, jacked, especially bridges.

You might wonder how a road or airport could be stolen. To be honest, it’s rare, but it happens. What goes missing most often are bridges. They are much easier to pick up and cart off in the dead of night.

After a slate of disappearing bridges, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission decided to take action and labelled each and every one of their bridge so they can be identified if found later. Brilliant! I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that these labels conceal a tracking device, too, so the DRJTBC can use “Find My Bridge” if one gets stolen or lost.…

REPURPOSE

It’s all free, so someone should take it. There’s even a surplus. Think of all the reuses. Suntan oil comes to mind. Use it liberally. It will definitely darken pale skin, with or without sun.

I expect this would be great for mosquitos too. The perfect repellent.

Maybe you’ve got a “squeaky wheel” at the office who you would like to de-squeak. Bring in a gallon or two and let it do its magic.

Some people gargle with it but I don’t think this is recommended so forget I mentioned this.

This stuff is also great for sidewalks that are too rough, too frictionie. Best applied before rain. Friction will not be a problem.

Unfortunately, by the time this blog post comes out someone, will already have snagged this treasure. …

SOCIAL MEDIA WORSHIP

It’s being formalize. The Church of Zuckerberg is holding regular services, now, where followers can gather and commume together. Except they don’t have to gather. They can worship anywhere they can get cell phone reception or find a wifi signal.

No kneeling required.

Hallelujah. Hit that Like button and subscribe.…

STIFF WORKERS

Workin’ can make you stiff. Not workin’ can make you stiff. Exercisin’ or not exercisin’ can make you stiff. Sleepin’, couch potatoin’, computerin’, road trippin’ and insults can make you stiff.

Being made out of concrete can make you stiff, too.

Why are workers called stiffs? Some sources say it’s because people who work uninteresting, low paying jobs get stiff at the end of the day. They are tired. Maybe it means they are getting stiffed by their employers. Then they’d be “workin’ stiffeds.”

We all work. We all get stiff. Fortunately, we aren’t made out of concrete.…

BUFF DEMON

Are demons naturally chiseled or do they work out? Maybe it’s their work environment. Lot’s of lifting.

I don’t much about demons except that they make you do stuff or mess with you. They’re less-than-model beings.

Apparently, they’ve been around a long time. Way back. Back to the when people decided to blame other things, other forces for their own less-than-model beingness.

I’m not sure when they got wings. These puny wings don’t look like they can lift Mr. Demon Beefcake unless it can beat those puny wigs 80 times per second.

Then it would be a hummingdon. Not very scary.

STOP AND SIT

Be a potato. A spud. An earth fruit. The brain often tells us to just sit down. Preferably on something soft and comfortable. Dry. Soft. Bug-free. Moldless. No thorns or spikes or razors sticking up.

The couch was invented for us to sit. Rarely do I need a sign to tell me to stop and offer me a place to sit. More likely, I need a sign to tell me to go.
